George Odell Stevens

George Odell Stevens, 88, of Marble Hill, MO., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. He was born November 15, 1931 in Gravel Hill, MO., son of George Pinkney and Hester Zada Welch Stevens. He and Margie Mae Brown were united in marriage on July 2, 1950. Odell worked as a mechanic for J. W. Chevrolet and as a hospital security guard for Saint Francis Medical Center and was a member of Greater Vision Pentecostal Church. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Margie, sons Curtis Wayne Steven of Tucson, Arizona, Stephen Odell Stevens of Marble Hill, MO, daughter Brenda Lorene Tucker of Chaffee, MO, sisters Louise Ladd of Marble Hill, MO, Mary Kirn and Sherry Brown both of Jackson, MO, six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Howard Stevens, grandchildren Kirk Stevens, and Jessica Tucker. Graveside services will be Friday, October 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Stevens and Rev. Ray Webb officiating.
