Darla Ann Rives, 59 of Cleveland, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 19, 2020. She was a lifelong resident of the area and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed going to the beach, eating seafood, and swimming. She liked reading, crocheting, and traveling. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy R. Prince; the father of her children, Arnold Walter McCartt, Jr., and granddaughter, Kairi Anna McCartt. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Rubye (Robert Lee) Morris; husband, Walter “Eldon” Rives; brother, Billy Leon Prince; sons, Ryan (Chastity) McCartt and David (Meagan) McCartt; grandchildren, Ryley McCartt, Alexis Skye McCartt, and Malorie Lawson; and a host of extended family members and close friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 3:00PM on Friday, October 23, 2020 in the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will begin at 3:00PM.
