Richard D. Locke, 60, passed away on October 17th, 2020 in Murfreesboro, TN at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Visitation will be at 1:00pm Saturday, October 24th at Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services for Richard D. Locke will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, October 24th, 2020 at Crestlawn Funeral Home with Elder Eddie Thompson, of Peyton Road Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Richard was born in Wayne County, Michigan to Clarence Locke, Sr. and Loraine Locke Jackson on October 19th, 1959. He graduated from Cookeville Senior High and attended Memphis State University. Richard is preceded in death by his mother: Loraine Locke Jackson; his father: Clarence Locke, Sr.; his brother: Clarence “Chucky” Locke, Jr.; and his stepfather: Franklin Jackson. Richard is survived by his loving wife: Debbie Locke; his children: Eric (Tshenia), Katerra, and Marques; sisters: Lori Jackson and Sheila (George) Woodson; nieces: Jazmyn, Iris, and Shelby; nephew: Aaron; grandchildren: Jackson, Natalia, AJ, Kayla, Alivia, Preston, and Elias; Great-grandchild, Aubree; and devoted friend: Eddie Thompson.
