Dorothy Emma Johnson, the daughter of Frank and Emma (Werling) Wegner, was born on July 20, 1935 in Armstrong, Iowa. She died Friday, October 16, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota at the age of 85 years.
Dorothy attended Armstrong Schools. She married Gerald E. Johnson on May 18, 1958. The couple made their home in Dresser, Wisconsin and Armstrong.
She was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church, and the VFW Auxiliary.
In her free time, Dorothy enjoyed flowers, playing accordion, singing, feeding the birds, and going for coffee.
She is survived by her twin brother, Donald (Karen) Wegner, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her sisters, Luella Hansen, Norma Jorgensen, Pearl Borowiak, Fern Nawrocki, Arlene Wegener, Gladys Mart, Lillian Johnson, Velda Sathoff, Jean Sathoff, and Florence Pytleski, her brothers, Clyde Wegner, Earl Wegner and Robert Wegner.
