Obituary

Passed peacefully away after a very brave courageous battle with cancer. God has called his faithful daughter home. Rosemary was predeceased by her: loving husband Clarence Power (married July 22, 1977), parents; Vincent and Agnes Howard, parents-in-law; Joseph and Rita Power, brother Brian Howard; her brothers-in-law; Joseph Jr,Brian & Mike Power and sister-in-law Rowena Street who became another sister to her. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughters: Kellie Ann ( Vincent ), Krista Lee ( Solomon ), and Heather ( Cory ), Four Grandaughters: Claire Marie, Charlee Rose, Sophia and Rosalie, sisters: Carolann Morgan (Sam), Elizabeth Howard and Sharon Conway ( John ), brothers: Jerry Howard ( Lilian d.) and Vincent Howard ( Shirley). Rosemary is also lovingly remembered by her: sisters-in-law; Rose Bryden, Madeleine Power, Ann Marie Power and Mary Howard (Sis), brother-in-law George Street, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends including her dearest long time friend Noell Flynn and extended members of the Hickey Family. The family would like to thank the Community Health Nurses of Eastern Health in Holyrood, the amazing staff at Pharmasave, Fr. Tony Bidgood and Fr. Roache. Lastly, we'd like to thank the Doctors, nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Miller Center for the excellent care she received in her last days. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Due to the restrictions of Covid 19, a private family funeral will be held at a later date with inurnment to follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre or the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation
