DEAN, Elizabeth Marie September 21, 1930 - July 2, 2020 Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family, Elizabeth Marie Dean (nee Murphy), on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 89 years of age. Marie was predeceased by her: husband Leo Dean, mother and father James & Theresa Murphy; brothers: Pad, Vince, Jim and Gordon Murphy, mother-in-law and father-in-law Mary Anne & William Dean; sisters-in-law: Alice Dean, Mary Dwyer, Theresa Grace and Philomena McKay, brothers-in-law; Aloysius Dean & Jim Walsh, and nephews; Ward Murphy and Wayne Dean. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Yvonne Dean (Alfred), Leo Dean, Fran Robinson (Mike), Barb Rocco Dean, Doug Dean (Diane), Terry Dean (Lorelei) and Des Dean (Judy), grandchildren: Lee (Amber), Bradley, Russell, Kyle, Justin, Brandon (Stacey), Ashton (Jerome), Karlton (Glenda) and Emma, Great grandchildren: Liam, Ethan, Felicity and Edmund; Special nephew Keith Grouchy (Alicia) who spent much of his childhood with the family. Also leaving to mourn her sisters; Gert Tobin (Gerry) and Margaret Slack, brother-in-law Bill Dean (Madeline), sisters-in-law; Anastasia Murphy and Joan Dean, cousin & best friend Geraldine Walsh, as well as a large circle of, nephews, nieces and friends. Lovingly remembered by staff and residents of Tobin's Guest Home who were her "family" for the past seven (7) years. We so appreciated all the loving care you gave her. Also, a thank you to the doctors and nursing staff of the Health Sciences Centre. No visitation at Marie's request, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
