Graveside Funeral Services for James "Buster" H. Thigpen, age 85, of Nicholson, MS, who passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020, will be held Thursday, October 22, 2020, at 11:00 am at Turtleskin Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 10:30 am until 11:00 am at Turtleskin Cemetery. Burial will be in Turtleskin Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. Bro. Danny Nance will officiate the service. A native of Santa Rosa, MS, he was a retired Map Printer for Shell Oil, New Orleans, LA. Buster was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting deer and running his dogs. Buster will be truly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Thigpen and Estelle Kellar Thigpen; and his brother, Terrell Reed Thigpen. Left to cherish his memory are his family and friends.
