A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Terry L. Leger, 57, who passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at his home in Church Point at 3:03 A.M. Père Rozas from Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church New Cemetery in Church Point. The family has requested the visitation to be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services. Survivors include his wife, Dana E. Leger of Church Point; two sons, J. P. and wife, Kelsie Leger of Richard, Justin Leger of Grand Coteau; one daughter, Meghan and husband, Corey Breaux of Church Point; one sister, Linda and husband, Donald “Shawee” Joubert of Church Point; eight grandchildren, Amya Briscoe, Aliyah Breaux, Alysia Breaux, Alexia Breaux, Wyatt Leger, Eli Leger, Alani Rose Leger, and Della Louise Leger; his furry friend, Bear. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Gervis and Velma Leger; two sisters, Cindy Sattler and Patricia Leger; one niece, Chasity Guidry.
