After returning home from service to his country in 1966, he moved back to his home town in Pollock, Louisiana. In 1974 he married the love of his life, Beckie LeBaron. Mike started his civilian career with Pineville Craft paper mill. He was one of the first employees hired at the mill and was one of the last employees to leave when the facility was closed. His former co-workers state that "he knew every single bolt, gear, belt and nut in the paper mill." Mike was a man of many skills and talents. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed watching LSU and Saints football, except when they were giving him a conniption fit, which was often. His greatest joy was visiting with his children, grandchildren, family and friends. Mike will be remembered as a loyal and loving husband, father and paw paw. He dearly cherished his beloved family and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto LeBaron and Mary Prewitt LeBaron. Michael is survived by his wife, Rebecca Marie LeBaron; his children, Kenneth and wife Michelle LeBaron, Bobbie and husband Ronald Patron II, and Robert and wife Jana LeBaron; and his seven grandchildren, Abigail LeBaron, Lindsay Howard, Grace Howard, Addison Patron, Ronald Patron III, Dean LeBaron and Ava LeBaron. Pallbearers will be Tommy Renard, Sean Romero, Ron Patron Jr., Jason Warren, Mike Fuqua, and Mark Richard. A heartfelt appreciation is extended by the LeBaron family to the VA, his nurses, the physicians, and the Staff of St. Joseph's Hospice for the kindness and warmth provided to Mrs. Rebecca and her family in their time of need.
