Nanette M. Mentone

Nanette M. Mentone, 64, of Long Branch, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020. She was born on May 23, 1956 in New Brunswick and lived in Englishtown and Monmouth Beach before moving to Long Branch 40 years ago. She was a fun loving soul and was talented in many ways; her children confided in her and she was very non-judgmental; she was an artist and was able to draw and craft anything. She loved doing art work with her grandchildren. She had a love for animals as there was always an animal in the house, from dogs, cats and birds. She loved movies and TV shows. Her love for animals brought her to work at the SPCA in Eatontown and as well being an artist to work at AC Moore in Shrewsbury. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter DeJulio and Tina Fiore and her sister, Lori Noviello. Surviving are her husband, Burt; sons, Burt, Ryan and Keith; sister, Beatrice; brother-in-law, Vincent; best friends, Marty and Butch Boyle. She was Me-Ma to her three beautiful grandchildren, Theodore, Ellie Grey and Emersyn Brooke; grandchildren’s mother’s, Valerie and Melissa; loving aunt to Brianne, Avery, Dominic, Crystal, Michelle and Michael. Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 5-7 pm Thursday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724. Visitors are asked to observe social distancing and face coverings must be worn.
