A memorial gathering celebrating the life Bradley K. Barrett, age 29, of Newark and Columbus, will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, at The Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service., 59 North Fifth Street, Newark. Brad passed away unexpectedly on October 15, 2020 at his residence. He was born February 1, 1991 in Newark, Ohio to Bryan J. and Christine L. (Parrill) Barrett. Brad always enjoyed making others laugh. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was known as “funny Brad”. He loved cats, working out and bodybuilding. He was also very generous with his time and finances. Brad was an avid Ohio State Football fan. Brad never knew a stranger and he had the gift of conversation. Those who knew Brad know that he could talk your leg off for hours, especially his customers at his business Ohio Strong Supplements in Gahanna Ohio. Brad was proud of his business and worked extremely hard to make it successful, he worked many hours to ensure success for not only his future but his family as well. He is survived by his father, Bryan J. Barrett; his mother, Christine L. Barrett; former wife, Allison M. Barrett; a sister, Casey L. Barrett; grandmothers, Karen Sefogo and Marlene Barrett; and several aunts uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by both of his grandfathers, Fred Parrill and Bob Barrett. Family and friends may call on Thursday, October 22, from 4-7 p.m. at The Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service, 59 North Fifth Street, Newark. Memorial contributions may be made in Brad’s name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
