Wanda Tovey (nee Brisendine), 64, of Vermilion, passed away Saturday, on October 17, 2020 at Mercy New Life Hospice after a lengthy illness.
She was born July 14, 1956 in Elyria , OH. and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 19 months moving from Terre Haute, IN.
Wanda was a stay at home mom and grandma. She enjoyed get-togethers and family outings especially along the Wabash River near her home in Terre Haute, Indiana.
She is survived by her daughter, Christina (Matt) Fisher of Vermilion; son, Jason Reichert of KY; step-sons John (Kristina) Walters and Jimmy Walters of IN; grandchildren, Matthew Fisher of Vermilion, Kaitlyn Thompson of Huron, Corey Walters and Alex Walters of IN; great-granddaughters, Leila Fisher and Alexa Kingsboro; and her canine family, Chico, Dixie, and Buddie.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Brisendine; siblings, Penny, Dreama, and Steve; life partner and love of her life, Herb Walters.
Memorial services will be held in Indiana and scheduled at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio.
