Rashard Tyrone Jones, a resident of Farmington, New Mexico died unexpectedly on October 18, 2020 at the age of 41.

Rashard is survived by his loving wife Amanda Jones (Homer); their children, Jayshaun, Neveah, Kamiah, and Savanna; his sister Jaleisha Jones, as well as many siblings, cousins and other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Amelia Jones and Michael Davis.

Rashard was born March 3, 1979 in Dallas Texas to Amelia Jones and Michael Davis. He loved playing all sports as child, especially football. May 8, 2011 changed his life forever when he met his sweetheart and soulmate Amanda. They were married October 13, 2012. The family relocated to Farmington from Texas four years ago and Rashard enjoyed working for the City of Farmington and, most recently, as a department manager at Target.

A gentle soul, Rashard always had a smile for everyone. He was a devoted father and husband—his favorite activity was spending time with his family. His children will tell you that he told the best jokes and was a great dancer! Rashard was so happy to find the Gospel of Jesus Christ and counted his baptism day among his best. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday October 24, 2020 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 400 West Apache Street in Farmington. A public viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. Bishop Jamison Huffman will officiate. Flowers and condolences can be offered at Brewer, Lee, and Larkin Funeral Home.
