Courtney L Griffith, 20, of Hannibal, passed away at 11:00 pm Saturday, October 17, 2020 in Hannibal, MO. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday October 22, 2020 at United Methodist Church of Palmyra, MO. Pastor Eric Anderson will officiate. Courtney was born November 11, 1999, in Hannibal, MO to Rodney L. Griffith and Stacey Schmidt Dunkle. She was a graduate of Palmyra High School. Survivors include her mother, Stacey (Steve) Dunkle, grandparents Terry (Connie) Schmidt and Bobby (Connie) Griffith, brother Hunter Lee Griffith, and sister Heather Taylor Courtney was preceded in death by her father Rodney L. Griffith, and her niece Sophie Marie Taylor and her cousin Cory Lee Cox. Courtney was full of life with a servant's heart and an artistic Soul. She loved listening to music and spending time with friends and family. She was training to become a CNA at Maple Lawn Nursing Home where she enjoyed working with the residents. Our "Shorty Shortcake" will always be remembered for her big heart and sweet generous nature! Memorial contributions may be made to Maple Lawn Nursing Home Activities Fund.
