Jones F. and C. has been given the solemn responsibility to announce that <strong>Mr. Arthur Shields </strong>passed away October 14, 2020 at the Vidant Inpatient Hospice.</p> <p>A <strong>Service of Remembrance </strong>will be held on <strong>Tuesday, October 20, 2020 </strong>at<strong> 2 pm</strong> in the <em><strong>chapel</strong></em> of<strong> S. Jones Funerals and Cremations.</strong> His body will lie in state an one hour before the service for friends and loved ones to come pay their respect during the viewing.</p> <p><strong>Due to COVID-19, the family is requesting only 50 people to attend the service. To accommodate those who wishes to attend the service but can't, it will be streamed live.
