Shirley D. Ricard

Funeral services for Shirley Diane Ricard, 70, will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 21, 2020 at Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Pitts officiating.  Burial will follow in the Clamp Family Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church 3708 Pond Branch Road Leesville, SC  29070.  Barr-Price Funeral Home, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.

  Mrs. Ricard died Sunday October 18, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.  Born in Leesville, she was a daughter of the late Evans and McCella Clamp Oswald.  After the death of her mother, she was raised by her grandparents, Jeff and Lillie Clamp.  She was a member of Providence Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher, member of the Bereavement Committee, the WMU and retired from J. B. Martin Company.  The family would like to thank Linda Shealy for her dedicated help and support during Shirley’s illness.

  Survivors include her husband, Bruce E. Ricard, son, Reggie Ricard (Jennifer), brothers, Nelson and Tommie Oswald, sister, Carolyn Waters, 3 grandchildren, Caden, Kenzie and Dalton Ricard.

  She was predeceased by a sister, Sanda Gail Oswald.
