It is with broken hearts that the family of the late DARRELL J. LAMBE of Little St. Lawrence announces his passing. Darrell passed away surrounded by his loving family at his sister’s home in Little St. Lawrence on Saturday, October 17th, 2020 at the age of 48. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his son, Nicholas Lambe of Fortune; father, Frank Lambe Sr. of Little St. Lawrence; sisters, Carolyn Lambe and Hannah Lambe both of Little St. Lawrence; brothers, Frank Lambe Jr. of Little St. Lawrence and Jordan Lambe (Paige Macleod) of St. John’s; plus a large circle of other family and friends.

Darrell is predeceased by his mother, Paulette Antle; and grandparents, Leo & Mary Lambe and Edmund & Theresa Antle.

In following his wishes cremation has taken place.

The Lambe Family will accept visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Burin. In order to maintain social distancing and to follow the public health advisory of COVID 19, a walk through visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 20th, 2020 from 1pm – 4pm and 7 pm – 9pm; and on Wednesday, October 21st from 10am – 12pm. A maximum of 20 people at any one time permitted.

Due to limited capacity because of the COVID–19 restrictions, a private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, St. Lawrence on Wednesday, October 21st, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Inurnment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fox Cove.

In Darrell’s memory donations may be made to Daffodil Place or flowers gratefully accepted.
