Norma J. Cleary

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, sister and friend, Norma Joan Cleary age 59, on Thursday October 15, 2020.

Born in North Sydney, December 29, 1960, Norma was the daughter of the late Harry and Katherine (Myler) Cleary. She was employed for a number of years with her family’s business, Blue & White Taxi and Ambulance, later with Nova Scotia Power Corporation. Norma enjoyed spending time at the cottage in Big Bras d’Or, watching hockey games especially when her favourite team the Montreal Canadiens were playing, but most of all spending time with her lifelong best friend her daughter Jennifer and her favourite puppies Jessie and Daisy.

She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Bugler, brothers Lee Cleary and Kevin (Nancy) Cleary, sister Eileen Cleary, by her best friend Patricia Pyke, longtime companion Liam MacMullin, a number of nieces and nephews.
