Victor Mendoza, Jr. entered into eternal rest on the morning of October 18, 2020.    Victor was born on September 26, 1989 in San Angelo, Texas, a son of Victor Mendoza, Sr. and Maria Cardenas.  He was a lifelong resident of San Angelo, Texas.  Victor's chosen career path was as a baker.   Victor is survived by his mother and father;  his wife, Ana Rivera; a son Victor Evan Mendoza; two daughters, Marisol Mendoza and Sophia Mendoza; two brothers, Sergio Mendoza and Martin Mendoza; two sisters, Carolina Mendez and Vanessa Mendez.  

Visitation will be held at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 3:3o p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  A vigil service during which the Christian community will keep watch with the family will be held at 6:30 Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North.

A funeral mass is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 301 West 17th Street, San Angelo, Texas with Fr. Juan Lopez-Cortes serving as the officiant.  Interment will take place at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, San Angelo, Texas
