<p>Martha Nagel, 91,&nbsp;formerly of Cypress Lodge, Maple Creek, Saskatchewan,&nbsp;passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020.</p> <p>She was born Nov 7, 1928 at the family homestead near Estuary, Saskatchewan. On November 22, 1950, she married the love of her life, Christof Nagel and lived on their farm and raised their 5 children. 1985 they moved and resided in Leader, Sask.</p> <p>Martha, throughout her life time, worked in the fields with her husband on the farm. Later, she worked as a cook at the Leader Union Hospital and the Western Senior Citizen Home.</p> <p>She enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening, and visiting with friends and family. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.&nbsp; She was a seamstress and loved quilting. She would drive out to the country to view the scenery, nature and sunsets.</p> <p>Martha was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.</p> <p>Martha was predeceased by her husband Christof Nagel, her parents, George and Christina Elsasser. Her brothers, Paul, Harvey and Alfred Elsasser. Brothers in law, Leonard Braun, Robert Nagel, Phil Nagel Edwin Nagel, and Herb Jagow. Sisters in law, Olga Jagow, Carol Elsasser, and Gladys Nagel. Mother and father in law, Karl and Karoline Nagel.</p> <p>She is survived by her children, Donatta Baptiste, Darlene Thorburn, children Travis Thorburn and Tara Thorburn, Don (Es) Nagel, Delores Nagel, David (Rhonda) Nagel, children Paden (Meagan) Nagel, Keara (Dillon) Wanner. Her great grandchildren, Sidney, Tyson, Ivy, Alex, Navada, Thomas, Errett, Wyatt, and Toni. Her Sisters, Esther Nagel, Frieda Braun and Brother, Harold Elsasser. Sister in laws, Florence Elsasser and Sandra Elsasser. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.</p> <p>The family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful help and care given by the Cypress Lodge&nbsp;in Maple Creek Saskatchewan.</p>

Martha Nagel, 91, formerly of Cypress Lodge, Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020.
