Rodney B. Costello Of Arlington Heights Rodney B. Costello was born on April 27, 1927 in Oakland, California to John and Nettie (nee Russo) Costello. He died Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in Arlington Heights. Mr. Costello was a World War II Veteran serving in the Marine Corp. Rod worked in the food brokerage industry for nearly 60 years, beginning his career in California, and later Maryland and throughout the Midwest. Never retiring, Rod worked until he was 89 years old. He had a passion for cooking and a great love for birds and animals of all kinds. Rodney is survived by his wife, Sally Costello (nee Folsom); daughters, Kate (John) Haussmann and Carrie Costello; grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Haussmann; brother, Jack (Sally) Costello, brother and sister in law, Jack (Dorothy) Folsom, brother and sister in law, Kent (Joyce) Folsom and nieces and nephews, Pamela (Robert) Blades, Meredith Costello, Doug (Karen) Folsom, Jim (Jill) Folsom, Rich (Christie) Folsom, Jack (Susan) Textor, KC (Mary) Textor, Beth Folsom, Nancy (Michael) Lane, as well as many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother in law, Thomas Textor, his sister in law, Patricia Textor, and his nephew, Todd Textor. Funeral services and interment will be private.
