Brimfield- Paul Stephen Smith, 33, of Brimfield passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Paul was born on February 27, 1984 in Peoria, to Steve and Patti Smith. He married Lisha Mordue in 2006 and together they had four children. He is survived by two daughters, Hailey and Katie and two sons, Vincent and Jason; parents, Steve and Patti Smith of Brimfield; one sister, Erica (Brian) Asbell of Brimfield; two nephews, Brock and Evan Asbell; one aunt, Pam (Wes) Schupp Chain of Princeville; two uncles, Vince (Brenda) Smith of Peoria and David Smith of Chillicothe; and cousins, Jason, Michael, Collin, Jaime and Kristin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Aline Taylor and Vincent and Verda Smith; and one uncle, Trent Schupp. Paul loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his children. He was an avid outdoorsman with many hobbies. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. A memorial account has been set up under their Grandmother, Patti Smith, at Princeville State Bank, 4924 W. American Prairie Dr. Peoria, IL 61615, for the benefit of Paul’s children, Hailey, Katie, Vincent and Jason Smith.
