Brenda Whorton Keel, 72, of New Hope, passed away Friday.
She was preceded in death by father, Joseph Titus Whorton; mother, Leora Whorton; husband, Donald Keel; brother, Teddy Whorton; sister, Betty Barham; sister in law, Sandra Whorton.
Surviving are daughter, Stephanie (Jeff) Cornell; granddaughter, Amy (Chad) Piper; daughter, Danielle Mitchell; granddaughter, Madison Mitchell; granddaughter, Kylee Mitchell; great-grandsons, Evan Cornell, Jace Cornell, and Owen Piper; brother, Jerry Whorton; sister, Susan (Nathan) Nickelson; niece, Heather Nickelson; nephews, Nathan Nickelson, Jr., and Mark (Brandy) Whorton.
Visitation will be Monday 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home, Monday at 2:00 PM with Bro.Wayne Walls officiating.
Interment will be in the Neals Chapel Cemetery.
