<p> </p> <p>Roger Edwin Kirkland, 70, passed into eternal rest surrounded by his loving family on October 17, 2020. Graveside Service will be conducted at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery on Tuesday October 20, 2020 at 3:00pm.</p> <p>Born in Batesburg, SC to Harold R. Kirkland and Arietta Carroll Burke in 1950, graduated from A.C. Flora high School and was a General Contractor for over 40 years.</p> <p>Mr. Kirkland is survived by his devoted wife Susan, of 52 years, daughters, Kristie Jones (Mark), Jennifer Cockrell (Chris), Stephanie Harmon (Dennis), 5 grandsons, Jordan Cockrell, Canaan Cockrell, Cameron Jones, Benjamin Cockrell and Cole Harmon, step-grandson, Dustin Harmon, sister Brenda Koon, brothers, Dean Kirkland (Gloria), Keith Kirkland (Jo Lynn). He was preceded in death by a brother Clark Kirkland.</p> <p>His life was devoted to his family and to his Savior “The Lord Jesus Christ” and will forever live in our hearts.</p>Obituary
