Suzanne Mary Bolger

Suzanne Mary Bolger January 17, 1940 - October 16, 2020 On Friday, October 16, 2020, Suzanne Mary Bolger, loving mother of five children, ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren, passed away at the age of 80. Suzanne was born January 17, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan to Francis and Mildred Bolger. She married Thomas I. Cox on November 19, 1965, and began their life together. Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, her brother John, sisters Joann, Shirley, and Mary Jean; along with her dear brothers-in-law Richard Pickrum, James Flood, and sister-in-law Joann Bolger. She is survived by her eldest brother Donald Michael Bolger, sister in law Maryellen Klask and her beloved five children Sean (Cheryl) Cox, Nancy (William) Cassisa, Julie Cox, Joel Cox, and Amy (Don) Poterek; her ten grandchildren, Keegan, Grace, Olivia, Chase, Gillian, Paige, Rachel, Austin, Wade, Liam, and her five great-grandchildren. Suzanne was a proud Irish Catholic girl who raised five children without losing her marbles. She never needed to be the center of attention, but was always the life of the party. She would light up a room with her infectious smile and laughter, and she taught us all to be a participant in life, not a spectator. Family and faith were everything to her and she taught us that these two things were what made life worth living. Suzanne aka “Mom, Mumsy, Nana, Auntie, sister, daughter and friend” will be remembered, loved and cherished for eternity. Memorial visitation will be held Sunday, October 25, 2020, from 10:00 am until time of Celebration of Life ceremony at 2:00 pm at A.H.
