Ronald L. Wolfe November 18, 1943 - October 15, 2020 Ron, 76, passed away peacefully in his home October 15th, 2020. He was loved and respected by many and all that knew him were proud to call him their friend. He touched so many lives, in so many ways throughout his entire life, that he will be remembered throughout eternity. 100 miles an hour, with his hair on fire, was the way he lived from the moment he was welcomed into his life. His love of family and friends was paramount. His love of Corvettes, Harley's, powerboats, sailboats and all toys in general were a very close second. He lived his life to the very fullest every moment of every day. Water skiing, snow skiing, repelling, skydiving, jet skiing, sailing, canoeing, ziplineing, traveling (always loved a good road trip) were only a few of the things he loved to do with his wife, family and friends. He would always say "I won't be the Ole Guy sitting on the porch saying "I wish I would have done such and such," I will be the OleGuy saying " Wow, remember when I did .... with pictures to prove it. That is how he lived and that is how all remember him. Ron is survived by his wife and best friend, Jane Wolfe, 4 children, Ronald Wolfe Jr, Jackie Gonner, Debbie Spartz, and J.R. Wyhs. 7 grandchildren, Cory, Brandon, Brooke, Briese, Jacob, Nathan and Matt, 2 great grandchildren Kinley and Gwyn, brother, Robert Wolfe, mother In-law Barbara Cecil, as well as his best fuzzy buddy "Gus". He is also survived by so many other children, and adults alike, who came to love and respect him so much that he was lovingly referred to by them all as his "Pop" or "Uncle Ron". Ron was a Navy Veteran and a patriot to the core. He had a long career in Aviation as an Aircraft Technician in the service then on to TWA and American Airlines from which he had retired. He was very honored to have been awarded "The Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award" in 2011 for 50 years of dedication to aviation safety and his name has been memorialized at the Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration in Washington D.C. As Ron passes into his next life, all of us that knew him and loved him know that he will alway be looking over us and that he will be in our hearts forever. Godspeed my friend and never slow down. A sunrise service (0700) and celebration of life will be held on the Wolfe dock on Sunday, November 15th followed by a light brunch. All are welcome to attend.
