Her father was a wildlife biologist and the family moved to many cities and states before making Aberdeen their home. Sandy graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 1957 and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Minnesota. On February 22, 1966, Sandra married Daryle Wiltfang. They made their home on a farm in Mansfield where they raised their family. Sandy loved her many pets and exotic animals. She raised and showed Arabian horses for years and had a great group of friends who shared her passion of horses. To Sandy's delight, her granddaughter, Jaedyn has become an accomplished rider as well. Sandy was not afraid to help with farm work and always had her family's best interests at heart. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Mellette, SD. Sandy was a football fan and always cheered for the Vikings and the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. She also shared a love of NASCAR racing with her son, Mike. She was always the life of the party and her larger-than-life personality will be missed. Grateful for having shared Sandra’s life are her sons, Michael Scott Wiltfang (Sherri Bierman), Aberdeen, and Mark Alan Wiltfang, Mansfield, SD; step-daughters, Vicki (Jim) Lust, Aberdeen, and Jayne (Tim) Roby, Verona, WI; granddaughter, Jaedyn Bierman, Aberdeen; step-grandchildren: John (Jill) Russo and their daughters, Liva and Ella, Bozeman, MT, David (Ellie) Jackson, Atlanta, GA, and Matthew Jackson, Lemoore, CA; and brother, James (Norma) Stoudt, Rogers, AR; and aunts nieces, nephews, and cousins, and special godchild, Cindy (Pat) Teal, Aberdeen.
