Mary T. (Sally) Cooper (Sweeney) of Arlington passed away on October 15. A loving Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Aunt, Sister and wonderful friend to many. Beloved wife of Arthur E. Cooper Jr. (husband of 68 years). Loving mother of Arthur E. Cooper III and his wife Ellen of Pelham, NH; Marilyn Varnum and her husband George of Nashua, NH; Susan Donovan and her partner Lance Reynolds of Londonderry, NH; Kevin Cooper and his wife Doreen of South Carolina and Diane Manzi and her husband Christopher of Ipswich MA. Dear grandmother to Melissa and her husband Paul, Michael and his wife Susan, Megan and her husband Richard, Molly, Melanie, Christopher and his wife Amy, Traci and her husband James, Shawn, Jennifer, Sean, Taryn and her husband Seth, Torey, Trevor and his wife Kristine and Taylor. Great grandmother to 13 great grandchildren. Sister of Betty Demeo of Somerville, Barbara Westwell of Concord NH, Shirley Delaney of Sandwich, Ellen Baltrush of Somerville, Bryan Sweeney of Maine and predeceased by sister Patricia Favreau of Somerville. She will be missed and her memory cherished by all. The family is very grateful to the caregivers who helped her day and night. Due to the restrictions surrounding COVID 19, Mary will have a private funeral mass at the St. Eulalia Church on Wednesday Oct. 21. She will be buried at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Arlington. Those wishing to attend the burial are welcome. Please meet at the Mystic St. entrance before 12 noon.
