Beatrice Leola Alex, 65, of Columbus Georgia passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020 at her residence in Columbus, Georgia.

She was born on March 12, 1955 to Albert Lee Amerson and Minnie Leola Beck in Sylvester, Georgia.

Mrs. Alex was a loving housewife and a wonderful homemaker. She loved to read, had a tremendous passion and dedication to homemaking, and surrounded herself with friends, family, and loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Lee Amerson and Minnie Leola Beck; husband, Lamar Alex; a son Joseph Borjon; and two siblings, Joyce Street and Tina Shelby.

Mrs. Alex is survived by two sons, Richard Glenn O’Boyle and Daniel Patrick O’Boyle; one daughter Tabatha Alex; her three stepchildren, D.J. Alex, Jamie Alex, and Lamar Alex, Jr.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two siblings, Elaine Martin and Faye Sosebee.

Memorial Services will be on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM ET at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
