Robert "Robbie" Lee Johnson
Robert "Robbie" Lee Johnson, 62, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 3:50 pm October 15, 2020 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, Illinois. He was born October 23, 1957 in Mount Vernon to the late Jimmie Paul and Kay (Shaw) Johnson. Robbie is survived by his brother, David Johnson and wife, Brenda of Mount Vernon; many cousins, including, Debbie Sampson, Jerry Lynn Johnson, Randy Johnson, Carl Ray Johnson, Mark Allen Johnson, and Aaron Johnson; and numerous special friends. Robbie worked as a brick mason, was a member of the Mount Vernon Gun and Sportsman's Club, and a past officer of the Mount Vernon Eagle's Club. He was a die-hard Saint Louis Cardinal's fan and loved watching the Cleveland Browns. Robbie enjoyed fishing for crappie. He is dearly loved by his family and friends and will be missed. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 11:00 am at Bethel Memorial Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
