Thomas Harry Holland Jonesboro Thomas Harry Holland, 62, died October 13, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 29, 1957 in Whitneyville .He worked hard all of his life clamming, working in the quarries, and for the Washington County Sheriff's Department. He retired in 2018 to start his own business Tom's Auto, where he loved to be. Tommy enjoyed seeing all the kids and grandkids coming to visit for cookouts, and "having a few" with the boys. He loved his family very much, and would help them out whenever he could. He was a member of the White Mountains Moose Lodge #2705, where his brother lived. He is survived by his wife of 22 years Gertrude "Trudi " (Brooks) Holland; children- Mona Wentzell and husband Jeramy, Thomas J. Holland and wife Amanda, Shaylyn Holland and fiance Zachary, and Jakob Holland and girlfriend Josie; grandchildren- Tyler Wentzell, Alex Wentzell, Arianna Gamertsfelder and Niklaus (due in Feb. 21) ; great-grandchildren Adalyn Wentzell and Graycee Wentzell; siblings- Robert and Terry Holland, Timothy and Darlene Holland , Kevin and Leslie Holland, Teresa Webber, Mike and Deanie Holland, Joanie Holland Anthony, David and Jessie Holland, Patti and Donnie Foster, Judy and Charlie Daniels, and Stephen Holland mother-in-law Leta Hayward ;brothers in-law, and sisters-in-law - Michelle and Brian Holbrook , Ray and Cherie Brooks, Stephen Kennedy , Sheri Holland, and Bonnie Holland; uncle Terry and aunt Juanita; many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and friends to include best friends Larry White, and Mark Smith. He was predeceased by his mother Ernestine Lund and her husband George; father John Holland; brothers- William and Karry Holland; brother-in-law Milton Anthony; father-in-law Richard Hayward; uncles Tommy Smith, Irving "Buddy" Smith, and Brian Smith Graveside services will be held 1 pm Saturday October 24, 2020 at the Forest Hill Cemetery, Jonesboro.
