With heavy hearts and solemn emotions, the loved ones of Mr. David Lee Pitt Sr. are preparing to say “so long” to a vital link to their family’s chain and are being assisted with this difficult task by S Jones F. and C.  Mr. Pitt went down to the ticketing office while in Vidant Edgecombe on October 14, 2020 and the train conductor, Jesus Christ, issued him a boarding pass bound for life in Paradise. 

The Celebratory Events will begin with a visitation on Saturday, October 17, 2020, 6 pm - 8 pm in the chapel of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations. The family will be present to greet family and friends as they pay their respects.

A Home Going Celebration will be held 2 pm, Sunday, October 18, 2020 in the sanctuary of the St. Matthew Baptist Church  813 New Hope Church Rd, Battleboro, NC 27809.

His mortal frame will be laid to rest in the St. Matthew Church Cemetery.
