Carolyn McLaughlin Jones, 84, wife of the late Thomas Miron Jones, died Thursday, October 15, 2020. Born in Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert McLaughlin and Lorine Eagan McLaughlin.  She is survived by her son and daughter in law: Ricky and Cheryl Jones of Colbert, GA and two grandchildren: Jessica Jones and Cody Jones.  She was preceded in death by her siblings Bertie Smith and Joseph McLaughlin.  The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Lord and Stephens East Chapel.  A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 1PM at Ridout’s Forrest Crest Cemetery in Birmingham, AL.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Leukemia Society.
