A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Peggy Sue Diebel of Rayville will be 5:00PM Sunday, October 18, 2020 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville with Bro. Mike Jackson and Bro. Nathan Thompson officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00PM until 5:00PM Sunday at the funeral home. Miss Peggy was born January 10, 1945 in Holly Ridge, LA and passed from this life on October 16, 2020 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 75. Peggy loved to read and enjoyed English grammar. She played the piano at Rayville First Assembly, and also worked with the youth. She had a quick wit and even at her lowest, she was funny, playful and always had a smile on her face. Peggy was a tremendous prayer warrior and was always known for looking on the bright of side of things. Most of all, she loved her children Jonathan and Kimby with all of her heart. She enjoyed hosting gatherings at her home for her friends and family who would come to visit. She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend who made an impression on many people and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Marie Sorey; and two brothers, Calvin Sorey and Walt Ashley. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ken Diebel of Rayville; her children, Kimby Diebel of Rayville and Jonathan Diebel of West Monroe; her brother, Gene Sorey of Rayville; her sister, Janice Green of Tucson, AZ; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
