<p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:22px;">Eric Thomas &quot;E.&quot; Gaskins, 40, a resident and native of&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:22px;">Amelia, LA, passed away on Wednesday October 14, 2020 at his residence. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:22px;">Visitation will be observed from 9:00 AM&nbsp;until funeral services at 11:00 AM&nbsp;on Saturday October 24,&nbsp;2020 at Jones Funeral Home 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, LA.&nbsp;<em><strong>(All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing).&nbsp;</strong></em>Pastor Ronald Willoughby, officiating. Burial will follow funeral services in the Union Bethel Cemetery in Amelia.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:22px;">Memories of Eric will forever remain in the hearts of his son, Ahmaric Smith of Thibodaux, LA; his mother, Mary Holly of Amelia, LA; his father, Leroy Henry, Sr. of Breaux Bridge, LA; a devoted friend, Renee Garrison of Patterson, LA; nine brothers, Wilbert (Rachel) Rhine of St. Martinville, LA, John Henry, Leroy (Stacy) Henry, Jr., Travis (Laura) Henry and Isaiah Henry all of Lafayette, LA Terrence Henry of Breaux Bridge, LA, Derrick (Kasey) Gaskins, Harold (Yolonda) Holly and Travis Holly all of Amelia, LA;&nbsp;six sisters, Theresa Henry and Donesha Craig both of Lafayette, LA, Erica Henry and Crystal Woods both of Breaux Bridge, LA, Imanie Henry of New York and Latonia (Nathaniel) Holly-Hawkins of Amelia, LA and a&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:22px;">host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:22px;">Eric was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rev. John Gaskins &amp; Lillie Mae Gaskin; his paternal grandparents, Wesley Henry and Odeal Henry, three uncles and two aunts.&nbsp;</span></span></p>
