In later years she was employed at Morningside Health Center. Violet was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Haven where she taught Sunday school and was a member of Grace Service Guild and the Altar Guild. Over the years she enjoyed meeting with her homemakers group and playing cards. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2017 at Zimmer Westview Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center. Rev. Kenneth Serr, Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Haven, will officiate.
