Other survivors include his parents: Calletano Cardenas and Sara Flores; brothers: Sergio (Janet) Cardenas and Johnny Cardenas; sisters: Angelica Cardenas and Veny Cardenas; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and countless friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter: Jessica Cardenas, and his two sisters: Leonor Cardenas and Marylou Cardenas. Born in Tamaulipas, Mexico on February 20, 1977, Julio came to the United States at a very young age with his family in search of a better life. He was a resident of Montgomery County for most of his life. He had many different jobs throughout his life, but masonry was his passion. Around 2005, Julio took a leap of faith and started his own masonry business known as JC Masonry. Julio took pride in his business and met many people who became long life friends. Julio’s life revolved around his business, children, family and his hobbies. He loved the outdoors and spent a lot of his time by the water. Fishing and playing Gears of Wars on his Xbox were his favorite hobbies to do with his sons, brothers and friends. Julio also loved cars, especially Ford Mustangs, and he loved his trucks as well. Julio lived a happy life and would always find ways to make people laugh. He was very respectful and cared a lot for his family and friends. He would be happy to see everyone that showed up to his funeral and thank you all. Julio continues to enjoy living his single life in heaven and he is now in a better place.
