William G Trunick Obituary

William G. Trunick, 93, of Coraopolis, a member of the greatest generation, proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II, passed peacefully on Thursday morning, October 15, 2020 at Kane Regional, Scott Township. William was born in Sewickley on August 3, 1927, one of five born to the late Harold and Emily (Harding) Trunick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his siblings Harold Jr. “Bud”, Virginia “Ginny”, Marjorie, and Arthur “Archie. Beloved father of William Trunick, Edward Trunick (Debbie), Patrick Trunick, Mary Restivo and Daniel Trunick; cherished grandfather of Joseph, Liana, Dixon, Jack, and Sydney. He worked at General Motors in Sewickley and McKees Rocks, where he was manager of the Parts Department. He was an avid fisherman and loved going on fishing trips with his family. He was an artist, woodworker and enjoyed building model airplanes. William will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
