SUMTER – Anita Louise Singleton Rhodes, 59, died Thursday, October 15, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey. Born February 23, 1961, in Florence, she was a daughter of William Bradford Singleton and the late Eleanor Elizabeth Freeman Singleton. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Florence. She is survived by her father of Manning; a son, Israel Christopher Rhodes (Jennifer) of Sumter; three granddaughters, Alexandrea, Lynn and Aundreya; a sister, Beverly Schwerdtfeger (Chuck) of Anderson; and an aunt, Ginger Singleton of Manning. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2020, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Patrick Goodwin officiating.
