Harold Roger Coverdale, 67, of Back Hollow Road, Waverly, Ohio died 1:09 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio. Harold was born December 9, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Harry Harvey Coverdale. Surviving are his mother, Mary Florence (Lewis) Coverdale, five sisters, Pamela Lynn Coverdale, Mary Jane (Tom) Maggard, Vicki Jo (Barry) Claytor, Barbara Jean Sparks and Nicole Lynn McKee, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, son, Shawn Coverdale and daughter, Christina Moody. He was preceded in death by his father. Harold was a body repair man, was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles of Waverly and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly, Ohio with Pastor Toby Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Omega Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #142 of Waverly, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. noon until the time of the service on Sunday. www.boyerfuneral.com

Easy was a good guy! He was always nice to everyone he met. He taught me so much. I cant believe that he is gone. The service they had for him was beautiful.
