Mrs. Roberta "Bobby" Nicely, 81 of Mt. Vernon, passed from this life on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington. She was born in Manchester, KY on May 20, 1939 the daughter of James and Mary Messer Hoskins. She was a retired textile factory employee. She is survived by three sons, Rick and Marquita Helton of Harrodsburg, Jack Nicely of Mt. Vernon, and Jacob and Noel Helton of Springboro, OH; two daughters, Jeanette Devine of Brodhead and Jean and Lamar Brown of Acworth, GA; a brother, T.L. Hoskins of Manchester; and a sister, Mae Coyle of Cincinnati, OH. Ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Nicely; four brothers; and a sister.
