Rita Fernandes, age 76, of Sayreville, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy surrounded by her loving family. Born in Mumbai, India, she has resided back and forth between India and Sayreville. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed raising her family. In her spare time listening to music, say her prays and try to keep in touch with all her family and friends. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Surviving is her loving daughter Deborah, son-in-law Mcneil and daughter-in-law Mona Fernandes; her 5 wonderful grandchildren Mikhail, Raul, Roan, Jaden, and DeAndre; and her loving dog, Akira. Calling hours are scheduled for Sunday from 2pm to 6pm at the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main Street, Sayreville, NJ 08872 with religious services at 5pm. A private cremation will follow.
