Priscilla Ann Lafleur

Opelousas - Funeral services will be held for Priscilla Ann Mayer Lafleur on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 11:00 am at Our Lady Queen of Angels Church. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park. 

Mrs. Lafleur, age 78, passed away on, Wednesday October 14, 2020 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.

Priscilla loved creating wonderful works of art and involving herself in many different crafts. She enjoyed reading as many books as she could. She also enjoyed being outside surrounded by all of her wonderful plants, some even would say she had a green thumb. Her biggest pleasure and achievement in life were her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Robert (Bobby) Lafleur, her daughters Tiffany Hebert and husband Damian of Opelousas, Christy Bernard and husband Joey of Opelousas, Kelly Mire and husband Darron of Opelousas. Her sister Beverly (Billy) Latiolais and husband Michael of Leonville. Her brothers Ralph Mayer and wife Gail of Arnaudville, and Ronald Mayer and wife Jackie of Port Barre. Her grandchildren Megan Dupuis, Morgan Wilder, Ashley Doucet, Madeline Hebert, Adam Bernard, Evan Mire, Hunter Hebert, Alexander Hebert, Zachary Hebert, Dylan Hebert, and Lindsey Hebert. Her great grandchildren Sophia Benoit, Viviann Benoit, Kamden Garber, and Greyson Wilder.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Eric and Germaine Robin Mayer and her sister Betsy Wester.

Pallbearers will be Adam Bernard, Even Mire, Hunter Hebert, Alexander Hebert, Zachary Hebert, and Dylan Hebert. Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Mayer, Ronald Mayer, and Richard Lafleur.

Readers will be Megan Dupuis, Morgan Wilder, and Ashley Doucet.
