Harry R. Gottman, 94, of Mission, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at the VA Medical Hospital in Iowa City.  Burial will be at a later date in Wisconsin.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  The Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for Harry’s family and arrangements.

Harry Robert Gottmann was born on September 5, 1926, in Chicago, Illinois the son of Harry C. and Karen M. (Stone) Gottmann.  Harry proudly served his county in the United States Army during WWII from November 17, 1944 – August 23, 1948.  Harry was united in marriage to Clara Margaret Wagner on September 13, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois.  He worked for Chicago Orthopedics for many years.  Harry was a member of the Moose and enjoyed reading and playing softball and football.

Harry will be deeply missed by his daughter, Karen Gottmann and her husband, William Heiden of Muscatine.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Karen Gottmann;  wife, Clara and one brother, George Gottmann.
