Paul Harry Yousoufian Obituary

Paul Harry Yousoufian was born on January 29th, 1962 in Detroit Michigan, to the late George and and the late Lucile Yousoufian. He is the dear brother of Michael and the late Keith (who passed away last August). Paul is God Father to his nephew, Nicholas Yousoufian. His extended family included his late Uncle Edward and late Aunt Victoria Baharian, his cousins Eddie (Renee) and their daughters (Sydney and Clare), Aunt Rosemary and Uncle Robert Bagdasarian and their children Lisa (Craig) and Richard (Michelle), cousins Karen (Greg) Movsesian and Diane (Larry) Baldwin. Paul is survived by many other extended family members in Michigan, Buffalo, New York and Georgia Paul lived most of his life in Livonia Michigan. Paul attended school in Livonia and graduated from Churchill Highschool in 1981. He attended Schoolcraft College and received an associate’s degree of Applied Science. After College Paul took a job at Spectro Physics where he repaired lasers and was able to travel all around the United States for 10 years. When he was done traveling, he went to work at Consumers Energy with his cousin Eddie as a corrosion technician. Paul was still employed at the time of his death. He was planning on retiring in 4 years when he was 62 years old. In his spare time, Paul love to work on old radios, the kinds with old tube in them. He would travel around our state and Ohio going to Flea markets and estates sales looking for them. He also love to boating and fishing. He has had many boats over the years. He loved to spend his time out on Lake Erie, in Monroe Michigan. He and his cousin Eddie had enjoyed many fishing trips here and in the Bahamas. Paul loved to attend a bible study, and loved to discuss verses at family dinners and holidays. Paul is also quite well known for having a used car lot in his driveway, having 3 cars at all times. He would always excited go to flea markets with his nephew Nick. Paul loved spending his holidays and special events with his family, watching Sydney and Clare. He also would look forward to going to toy shows with his cousin Eddie annually. His nieces looked forward to going to boat and fishing shows each year with their uncle. A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a 4:00 p.m. Memorial Service at LJ Griffin Funeral Home - Northville Northrup-Sassaman Chapel 1901 Northville Road, Northville (248) 348-1233. In lieu of flower memorial donations are to the Michigan Humane Society.
