With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Marjorie Jean Webb. She passed peacefully with family at her side, on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at the age of 88. She has joined her husband Robert Webb, son Robert Webb Jr., daughter Janet Seely, as well as her parents Omar and Gertrude Maddaugh, sisters Ruth Merrit and Ethel Maddaugh, and brother Kenneth Maddaugh. Marjorie is survived by her daughter Marjie (Kim) Gallagher and their daughter Krystal (Luke) Helquest; son in-law Lee (Katherine Gallant) Seely and his children, Katherine (Rob Matiejewski) Seely and Michael (Lisa Dobson) Seely; Bruce (Elizabeth) Webb and their children Rose (Orry) Rumball, Robert, Danielle (Robert) Fossheim, Laura, Carolyn, and Richard; Pam (Phil) Rowland and their children, Miranda (Steve Palmer) Rowland, Andrea, and Troy (Cassandra) Rowland. Marjorie is also survived by nine beloved great grandchildren, Elizabeth, William, and Matilda Rumball; Lillian, Koyan, and Evaleen Aldrich; Aurora and Logan Helquist; and R.E.D. Fossheim. Marjorie was born in Lethbridge, Alberta. She spent the summers in Etzikom, Alberta where her parents and Uncle John had a farm. The school year was spent in Lethbridge allowing her to attend school there. On June 20, 1953, she married Robert Webb in Lethbridge. They farmed at Lethbridge, Twin Butte, Fort Macleod, High River, and Carrot Creek over the years. Marjorie moved back to High River to the Medicine Tree Manor in 2017 after her husband passed in October 2016. She lived there until she passed away. Marjorie will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. She had a smile for everyone. Marjorie was ready to help and could offer a kind word when needed. Marjorie was quick witted and kept her sense of humor until the end. She was an avid reader however chatting over a friendly game of some type was one of her favorite pastimes. While at the manor she enjoyed spending time at the puzzle table while having a good visit with other likeminded souls. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and wife and will be missed by her family. Arrangements in Care of Snodgrass Funeral Home Okotoks 403-938-3111.
