<p>Alice Jewel Burnett was born May 28, 1930 to the late Verter Bell and Winford Cook in Butler County, Alabama. The eldest of nine of five of whom preceded her in death.&nbsp; Two brothers John and Arthur cook, three sisters Elizabeth Solomon, Johnnie McDowell, and Mary Lois Aaron.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>At an early age she joined Indian Hill A. M. E. Zion Church.</p> <p>She married Eddie C. Burnett Sr, in 1949 and was blessed with four children Carolyn, Juanita, Eddie and Harold.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Alice love to travel with family and was an excellent cook, especially baking.</p> <p>Alice departed this life October 13, 2020.</p> <p>Her memories will be forever cherished by loving daughters Carolyn,&nbsp; Cleveland, Ohio Juanita, Greenville, Alabama sons Eddie(Janice) Montgomery, Alabama, Harold (Sally) Greenville, Alabama, grandchildren, great grandchildren, two brothers Clarence (Cora) Cook, and Grady Cook, one sister Bobbie (Levi) Matthews&nbsp; five sisters-in-law, 4 aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.</p>

At an early age she joined Indian Hill A. M. E. Zion Church.

She married Eddie C. Burnett Sr, in 1949 and was blessed with four children Carolyn, Juanita, Eddie and Harold.

 

Alice love to travel with family and was an excellent cook, especially baking.

Alice departed this life October 13, 2020.

Her memories will be forever cherished by loving daughters Carolyn,  Cleveland, Ohio Juanita, Greenville, Alabama sons Eddie(Janice) Montgomery, Alabama, Harold (Sally) Greenville, Alabama, grandchildren, great grandchildren, two brothers Clarence (Cora) Cook, and Grady Cook, one sister Bobbie (Levi) Matthews  five sisters-in-law, 4 aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
