Landyn Layne Taylor Iowa City, Iowa Obituary

Landyn Layne Taylor

Landyn Layne Taylor, age 4, tragically passed away at home on Sunday, October 11, 2020. He carried with him a warm spirit and looked at the world through beautiful green eyes. His family will hold private services. Instead of flowers and plants, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to The Landyn L. Taylor Education Fund – to benefit his brother’s and sister’s future education. Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City is handling arrangements for Landyn. Landyn was born August 16, 2016 at Washington County Hospitals & Clinics to Christopher Taylor and Stephanie Creamer. He was working on mastering Minecraft and really liked playing with cars and trucks. Landyn helped his Dad Chris with tasks – most recently helping to rebuild a carburetor! Landyn’s favorite color is currently yellow! He was on a yellow kick right now. He loved watching Sponge Bob and The Loud House. Landyn liked to run from one end of the house to the other, making as much noise as possible. Always happy - he had an enormous chuckle that made others smile. Landyn was very loving and affectionate - and was aware when others needed a hug or an “I love you”. Landyn is survived by his parents, Chris and Stephanie of Kinross; brothers, Rylan, Brennan; sisters, Brooklyn, Kaylan, Kimberlyn and Lillian; half sister, Kaylee Jarvis; two grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Landyn was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Amanda Stockstell and his paternal grandfather Karl Kempf.
