Roberto A. "Bobby-Flaco" Garza

Roberto A. “Bobby-Flaco” Garza of Port Isabel/Laguna Vista entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at the age of 67 years old at Valley Regional in Brownsville, Texas. Bobby graduated from PIHS in 1974. He was a lifetime resident of Port Isabel/Laguna Vista and a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel. He was kind hearted, friendly, humble and loved to spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cosme Garza, Sr. and Alicia C. Garza; his brothers, Cosme Garza, Jr., Frankie Garza and Juan J. Garza; father-in-law, Ernesto Reyes, Jr. and mother-in-law, Maria G. Reyes. He is survived by his loving wife, Estella R. Garza; daughters, Vedette Garza and Robstella (Emmanuel) Zuniga; grandchildren, Dominique, Darius and Emmanuel, Jr.; and great-grandson, Jaylen. He is also survived by his sisters, Juanita G. Gonzales (+Roberto) and Mary A. Aby (+Perry); brothers, Michael Garza (Aurelio) and Rodolfo Garza (Irma); sisters-in-law, Tina R. Martinez (Martin) and Diana R. Perez (Melvin); brother-in-law, Ernesto Reyes, Jr.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 5 p.m., until 9 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at 7p.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. All services will conclude on Saturday evening.
