Randy Weber Sheldon, Iowa Randy Weber, age 47, of Sheldon, Iowa who passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 at the Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. His funeral service will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Sheldon United Methodist Church with Pastor Kevin Gingerich ~ officiating. Burial will be in the East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon, Iowa. Visitation will be after 3:00pm on Friday, October 16, 2020 at the Sheldon United Methodist Church with the family present from 5 - 7 P.M. at the church. Randy Doyle Weber, the son of Rex D. and Rita Ann (Haley) Weber was born on July 19, 1973 in Watertown, South Dakota. Randy attended Sheldon Community School and graduated from Sheldon High School in 1992, he went on to attend NCC and received his AA in Auto Mechanic and Machine. Randy worked part-time for L&K while in school and after graduation he worked for Co-Op Gas and Oil in Sheldon for the past 25 years as a mechanic. On September 4, 2010, Randy was united in marriage to Rebecca L. Jansma in Sheldon, where they made their home. Randy passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Avera McKenna Hospital & University Health Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota reaching the age of 47 years, 2 months and 22 days. Randy was a member of the Sheldon United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golfing, the Vikings, Minnesota Twins and the Iowa Hawkeyes, he also enjoyed go carting with his nephews, watching NASCAR and watching/supporting his youngest daughter, play basketball for the Orabs. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Left to cherish Randy’s memory are his wife, Rebecca of Sheldon; and their children, Liz (Logan) Keehner of Des Moines, IA; Courtney Meyer of Sheldon, IA; Mitchell Meyer of Seattle, WA; Emily Meyer of Sheldon, IA; 1 grandson, Rylan Strouth; his parents, Rex and Rita Weber of Sheldon, IA; his in-laws, Clif and Linda Jansma of Sheldon, IA; 2 brothers, Russell (Kim) Weber of Newell, IA; Ryan (Lacie) Weber of Mandeville, LA; 2 nephews, Dillion Weber of Paullina, IA and Kirk (Abby) Weber of Newton, IA and a niece, Ann Weber of Mandeville, LA; and other relatives and friends.
